Spiral Vase
A spiral vase for flowers created by editing solids in Fusion360. It was quite difficult but satisfying in the end. I was able to make it hold water without leaking by making thick walls and printing with 100% infill.
“BOO” Ghost Text Flip
Created by overlaying two sketches of the ghost outline and the “BOO” text. The ghost outline was extruded upwards and the “BOO” text outline was extruded across the ghost to cut and implement the text. It was designed for a Halloween design competition that I unfortunately did not win.
Laser-Cut Living Hinge Box
A living hinge is a flat piece of wood that has cuts in it which allow the originally rigid piece to bend similar to the bending of a paper. I designed the living hinge pattern and box in Fusion360 and laser cut it onto 3mm wood. The box has a “chest” style lid that is closed using a living hinge and held closed with tiny neodymium magnets.
Instructables Runner-Up Award (Autodesk Contest)
I wrote an extremely detailed Instructables article on designing DIY sandals on Fusion360 that could be printed with TPU(similar to rubber) filament and worn. I gained experience using forms and detailed instructional writing. I won a runner-up prize of $50 which was used to purchase filament and tools to 3D print prosthetics.
