I never thought I would have the chance to speak on stage as a TEDx Talker. The experience was exhilarating and most importantly, I got to raise awareness about prosthetic issues and talk about what I love: 3D printing. I learned to manage my nerves and develop my communication skills through countless hours of rehearsal and reiteration.

The article went back and forth between me and the editor countless times before it was finally published. Overall, it was a rewarding project, both materialistically and effortfully.

This article is an update on an existing article on legal ways to get 3D printers for cheap and free. This article may be useful for those getting into 3D printing for the first time and do not want to invest a lot in their first printer. I ended up rewriting around 70% of the article.
